About the Author
Janet Slack is owner of Life Adventure Coaching and loves to work with others to succeed in life through increasing fun, challenges and rewards. In her years as a coaching entrepreneur, Janet has mentored, coached and supported dozens of others as they started their own coaching businesses. Her own business is based in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina where she and her husband and two great dogs enjoy their adventures on a daily basis.
Janet regularly presents business workshops for her local chamber of commerce and has been a speaker on a variety of topics at counseling conferences. Her writing has appeared in the coaching magazine, Personal Success, and in several other print and online publications. She is a Toastmaster, a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Certified Mentor Coach and a Professional Certified Coach from the International Coach Federation.
Janet has a passion for the field of coaching and believes every person could benefit from the intensity and intimacy of a powerful coaching relationship. Quite simply, she says, “We just need more coaches in the world.” Janet recognizes a need in the coaching field for support and information for beginning coaches as they enter the world of business. One of her specialties is to provide this resource for new coaches.
